Winchester Systems Inc., a leading data storage solutions provider, today announced a major new generation of COTS rugged data storage, now in its 12th generation.The new COTS rugged RAID arrays are twice the speed of the prior models with throughput to 5,400 MB/sec. and IOPS to 742,000 and offer increased capacity to 432 TB. These COTS rugged units support both hard disk drives (HDDs) and solid state disk drives (SSDs) for 8 Gb Fibre Channel and 6 Gb SAS hosts.
